Relaxation...A monologue

The following is a monologue that takes up a good minute and twenty seconds before Track 4. The idea first emerged when I spoke to my Malaysian friend and she mentioned a change in the world after a few months and had to be put into visual words.

It starts in the brain, like a malignant cancer, slowly driving its subject mad.
I called out for a savior...but you never responded.
You who once was everything to me
Now an emotionless face with no regard for me,
Devoured my soul moved on to my heart where for a while
I would become incapable of trust, of ever loving 100 percent again.
One disappointment was all it took to form regrets,
Your voice the greatest regret of all.
Months passed, Seasons changed
The disease wouldnt leave the body.
...
And then, one day,
I stepped out into the sunshine.
The lovebirds were singing, the air felt wonderful;
And thats when I realized
There was nothing left inside for you.
