So ive been constantly asked questions about why I refuse to appear on tv even when cameras are everywhere. It is not a religious conviction contrary to what many believe. No I am not Amish! And of course, I am no longer afraid of being non-photogenic.
The solution can be found by studying the programs that I associate with. One can easily see that most programs that clamor for new talented patrons are part of organizations that slander, defame, or even kick out other artists for something simple. One can easily see why I could not sign a contract with the producers of american idol for, even if I win, they have an annoying habit of accumulating bad singers and bad behaviour and showcasing them for a few misplaced laughs. I will never be a FOX musician. It is also for this reason I refused to be known to play at GC or even at other events I was simply attending.
When I was young the first program I played for was Voices of Our Youth produced by Nicole Butler. She ran a reputable program. She gave me time to practice. Even though I was not as proficient on the keys as I am now she maintained dignity and integrity in her dealings with me.
And from this i rest my conclusion. Any organization that lowers some and exalts others is not worthy of my attendance. If people would only boycott things like these and enjoy some quality programming people who are schizophrenic singers and jingoistic propaganda enthusiasts as well as people who make their money off of singin gthe same syllables over and over will be forced to never get on stage. True talent will be found where it is appreciated most.
