last night i took ill from performing out in the rain without headgear. I downed medicine and went to bed.
I woke up with a headache and sniffles, but even though this was how i went to bed something had changed. I had a dream abt the soldier who dipped a sponge in wine and vinegar and gave it to jesus to drink to diminish his pain.
You know the story...jesus said no to drugs and would not let the anaesthetic help him on the cross. He suffered a quick death.
Is that what we do when we sometimes try to relieve ppls suffering a suffering they can bear?
