Unity Day 2009

Today was Unity Day. Unity Day is one of those days that many people tend not to attend, because the religious overtones are no longer subtle.

Anyway, Unity Day as a whole was awesome, but I was filled with sadness because I knew for sure that when Unity Day was over I would not see my love. I did see Travis, and Peggi Trusty, and a lot of other people.

I was very enamored with the music of the day...and I loved our Guest Speaker...Admiral Barry Black! I even transcribed notes and posted them on facebook...he is a phenomenal speaker and a phenomenal living testimony of what God can do through someone who listens for God's Voice.

In the evening concert, I played piano, as did Travis, and he played that song so well he KILLED it! ^^ I dont even think MOZART could play that well!

Even though I was hoping that Heavenly Voices didnt have to sing they did. And Ray tried to get on the piano and play with me, and he totally botched up the loveliest HV song! But I forgive him anyway...even though the girls yelled at me for it.

Well, I left the concert early. I had a headache from the whole event, and rather than close it out the way I usually do, but it was far too late. because Unity Day was near the boardwalk, my brothers went to the boardwalk with the Spencers and I went back to my house.

Somehow, I know God is behind all of this...
